Invalid SIM

The first card I purchased about 3 weeks ago for my phone had zero issues. I am loving the service. So I decided to switch my son over to Mint Mobile.

I have purchased a SIM for my son's phone and am getting an Invalid SIM error on the website. I contacted Mint Mobile support on the phone and was told I had to reorder another card - that this card is not active in Mint Mobile's system and therefore is no good. WTH?
