MMS-- can't send or reply

Things have tried;
(1) Support said to create a group, instead of just messaging a selection of contacts, this didn't work

(2) texted SETUP to 6700, then checked setting for APN, all looked like the support page said it should.

(3) called support, they had me change the port setting from 8080 to blank, and change the MMS port setting from blank to 8080. This didn't work.

I'm getting ready to change carriers help!!!
