No unique referral link in the referral email

I referred a friend using from my online account.
He received an email too from

My Name

But in that email, there is a button called "Visit Mint Mobile" and it takes him to just a regular Mint Mobile site and not a unique link for my friend to join.
This page can be also obtained without any referral.
How can I make sure that he and I will get the referral credit?

It seems that if your friend uses the link in the email, then you will get the referral credit if he ultimately activates his own account with Mint Mobile. You have to take it a bit on faith, but you should see the credit in your account between 15 and 30 days after his activation. Check "Transaction History" in the app or your account on the website to view it. It worked that way for my daughter when she referred Mint Mobile to me; although there was no way to tell when I bought the SIM card package, she did receive the credit after I activated my account.
