No mobile service after activating

After completing the activation and porting of my old mobile number from Verizon, the system says “Activation Complete” on the page https://my.mintmobile.com/activation/summary.  My Samsung Galaxy S7 still shows no service and I have a warning message “SIM card is not from Verizon Wireless” that I can’t get to go away.  My wife is 8 month pregnant and we can’t go without phones for an extended period of time so need the issue resolved ASAP.
