Having Trouble Sending a Picture Message? Learn How to Update
Userlevel 3
If you are struggling to send a picture message or access the internet on your phone, you’ll need to update your settings. There’s two ways to do this:

1. Text ‘SETUP’ to 6700
If you have a compatible Android device, you’ll receive a notification to automatically install your settings. If you are on an iPhone or a non-compatible Android device, you’ll receive a message with manual instructions. Simply follow the steps.
2. Update manually
Sometimes the good-old-fashioned way is best. Check out our step-by-step instructions on how to set up your data for Android and iPhone devices.

I set up my iPhone per the instructions. I can send an image to another Mint user on an iphone. But am having trouble sending an image (very small image) to a Verizon wireless customer on an android phone. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks!
I'm having problems, too. I've tried it on iOS 11.3 and 11.4 (which just came out). I've checked the settings many times. Still can't send MMS pictures.
Update: I made a typo in the URL. Working now.
I'm finding that all settings have to be re-entered every time Apple pushes out an iOS update. Is there any way around this? I have my elderly parents on Mint, and they require help every time this happens. I can't recommend the service to anyone else as long as this keeps happening.

I've never had issues on Android phones... Only iOS.
I hope someday we don’t have to do this everytime we update iOS . Apple help us !!!!!
This did not fix the problem on my iPhone. I've double checked the setting and there are no typos. I've restarted the phone and no dice. I can send photos to other iPhones but not Androids.

I also still do not get notification of voicemails.

Strike two. Can you help solve this or do I have to cancel today, which is my last day of trial period?
Triple check and just follow the instruction that should fix your problem
Well, it didn't. And I just got off the phone with Mint help and they can't fix it either.
Well I’m sorry you’re experiencing this issue . I’m just mint mobile user so I say do this :-
  1. go to settings and reset network settings.
  2. Shut down your phone and started back on .
  3. now feel in the cellular data network .
  4. Now repeat Step two .
good luck. Let me know if this works for you .
Actually had already done that too. But I just got off the phone with Apple and they had me turn on and off Airplane Mode and it didn't work. Then they had me shut down the phone again (3rd time) and now it's working. Now I wonder if my voicemail will work.

Thanks for your continuing to check back.
Ok cool . You’re welcome . We have to help each other with what we know .!

I just hope soon Apple adds mint mobile as carrier so we don’t have to do this everytime we update iOS .

Glad to hear Apple was able to assist. If the voicemail is not working, just direct message us your Mint mobile number and we'll reset the settings.
I've done the dm re the voicemail but that didn't work. I've sent two emails but have not received any responses.
For ANDROID if you can't send text messages with images and you are manually setting the APN parameters, the problem is caused because your keyboard adds a space after a comma. What should be APN Type - default, supl, mms is entered as APN Type - default, supl, mms See the difference? You have to delete the space that is automatically entered after the comma! Presto! Problem fixed!!
To get tethering to work, you also have to set the MVNO type to "IMSI" on my ZTE phone.
I have an iPhone 6s and have just updated to iOS 12. I’m unable to send pictures via text message. Also unable to receive gifs. I can receive images via text.

Im also pretty sure that I’m not receiving group messages.

No place to update mms settings, at least according to previous instructions. Carrier setting list mint/ultra. I tried resetting network settings.

Not a happy camper since I’ve got my whole family on the trial plan and I’m worried I’m going to have to go fix their phones too once I figure it out. What’s going on with iOS and Mint????
I am having the same problem! I entered the settings, reset and restart with no luck, This is no way to get customers. If this had been noted on the home page I would have kept shopping. Do I have to switch again or can this be fixed? And I don't know who Franklin is but it's not me!

I replied you on another page and my name was Franklin as well. This is ridiculous!
I never had this issue. till 3 days ago. I am using and Galaxy 7 and have been for Months. now all of a sudden? I checked my settings and they are as instructed. I restarted multiple times. no luck. please advise.

My wife's phone had trouble with this, Mint has fixed the issue for the small number of users who had this issue. Should be good today.
I noticed that I haven't been able to receive MMS as well. The problem just started yesterday, I think.
I also seem to be having issues sending MMS messages to certain people. I can send to my sister who I believe is on AT&T, but not my girlfriend who is also a Mint Mobile customer. My girlfriend can't seem to send picture messages to anyone. I have checked all our APN settings and Textra settings and they are the same. We both have OnePlus 6 phones (Android). Can't seem to figure out what is going on. Only seems to have started being an issue in the past few days which leads me to believe it's an issue with Mint Mobile's service. Our APN settings are exactly what Mint says to use in the setup on the website. Also texted SETUP to 6700 and just got directed back to the website. Any suggestions?
APN settings for reference:

Also running to this problem since this past Friday. Emailed support and they told me everything looks fine but I still can't send or receive mms. APN settings are the same.

On The MMS port, it shows to leave blank but I placed 8080 as listed in the first "Port" and now I can send Pictures. You can try it and see if that works. Carefully enter everything as before. Watching your spaces and uppercase/lowercase letters.
