Isn' it true, most customer support is trash these days, if I know I may need customer support these days I don't bother. it's sort of like the extended warranties, specially Square Trade, Apple Care, etc.
Might be time to switch back to Metro. Even though they use the same carrier. Going on my second year with Mint and I have had very few problems and for the price I can't complain. Was just using it the other day with Android Auto and maps and it was spot on, no pauses or delays.
If I were you I would go to the Motorola web site. They finance their phones through Affirm I believe, Motorola has phones with no carrier bloatware or crap like Samsung puts into their phones, Essential phones also still finance through Affirm, and no other phone gets Android updates faster except...
That can happen to me once and awhile, I will implement a call to a contact, it will not ring, silence for a bit then go to their voice mail. As I live in a mountain area of VA it's hard to say if it is the network or the person is in a no service area.
I would keep the plans as separate plans, and also port the numbers over separately. It seems when you throw too much at Mint at one time, ie: start new plans, close this one, change the data on this, port this number etc things get screwed up and cause problems.
You must be getting mine as I don't get many at all, just looked at my trash mail back to Xmas and there isn't one. Want to know who is a real pest is Ting mobile, I looked at them months ago and still get crap from that dirt bag company.
They want longer sign ups I guess, I only do the 6 month plan as the Mint phone is a back up. Our regular service is the T Mobile One plan for the rest of the family, daughter uses data at the tune of 15gb to 25gb per month. Not many providers have as good a deal as T.
